Night John by Gary Paulsen

Hey, do you know what Martin Luther King and Harriet Tubman fought for?  Well Sarny and Night John did.  The same thing they fought for, her education and their rights to go to school.

This book is about slavery in the 1800’s.  How brave and courageous the slaves were, and what they sacrificed to get an education.

I think this book is good for all and everybody because they should know how and what their history was like, and be grateful for what they have today.

The Clay Marble by Minfong Ho is a book about a girl who lived in Cambodia, and her life changed because of war.  I would really recommend this book because it has a lot of drama, suspense and most of all, it reaches out to you.

I would recommend the book The Funny thing is…by Ellen Degenerous.  I would recommend this book for ages 11 and up.  This book is funny and exciting, and keeps you wanting more.  When I finished this book I wanted more.  This book is suitable for adults too.  As a matter of fact, my mother was the one who introduced the book to me!  This book is a relaxing book full of short stories and is fit for anyone, anyplace at anytime.
