Yet is the easiest numbodd
It can pass through any number
And leave it unchanged
Or slide in place beside it
And make it bigger and rearranged

Of every known thing
As hard to understand
As the difference er to count and find
There really is no other of its kind

When you dispute over things it will call,
“Break it in half
And you’ll get me
Our share of it all
Split equally.”

At nine it will glower
And three will say,
“There can only be
One top of the triangle
And that will be me!”

And serves her true
Four brings into play
The third dimension
Its equal shapes
A cube, I might mention?

Five is simple and can always fit into it
The friendship between even and odd is through it
Five is odd
But always a friend
It fits so well and
Helps you count quickly to the end

Six is even, but friends with 9 and 3
But they’re so powerful, six is overlooked easily
It’s not really close to 2, 4, and 8
Though she is even
She’s a big sister to 5

Even tempered, never mean
But never forget her power
And never try to erase
