The End of the World...

The world is going to end

It’s almost 2012

No, No, I’m just kidding

Everything’s going well.

I have to go to bed and wake up early in the morning.

I never knew at age 19 that I could be so boring.

I’m having a dream

A nightmare it seems

The whole world dying

 The sky is red

 My friends are dead

 Little kids are crying

But then I noticed my wife

She’s lying on the ground

I don’t know what we do.

My body just breaks down

Her eyes are red

Her blood is shed

…It was just  a dream.

Look to my left

Look to my right

She’s lying on the bed

 I hold her tight

My lovely wife

I kiss her on her head…

2 hours later

Its 9 AM, I had to wake up at 8

I have to go now before I get to work late.

I get dressed , get my coffee, and kiss my wife good-bye

I tied up my shoes then I ran outside

But when opened the door, the weather caught my eye

This can’t be true

I must be getting tricked by my eye

There were clouds in the sky

They were bulging red

I think I’m losing my mind

I start hitting my head

But I’m not losing my mind

Other people see them too.

 No, this 2012 thing

Cannot be true

Just forget that right now

I have to go to work

I can’t be one minute late

 My boss is a jerk

11 hours later 8 PM

Finally work is over

I can’t wait to get home

 After that dream

I’m scared to leave my wife alone.

Oh no, the clouds are still red

But it’s gotten even worse.

There’s no sunlight at all

 And the wind is berserk

I have to get home now and

  Really have to hurry.

My wife is home alone and she’s probably real worried

As I was driving over the bridge.

I almost snapped my neck.  This sight was unbelievable.

 The river was read.

I really have to get home now.

15 minutes later

I busted through the door.

And screamed my wife’s name

I heard her faint voice.

It sounded  like she was in pain

I ran to her and grabbed her

Then from then the corner of my eye, I saw something black.

Just pass by

I grabbed a knife and turned around

But nothing was there

I heard something upstairs

I gripped the knife tight

Then walked up the stairs

When I got to the top

Nothing was there.

Whew, I hugged my wife tightly

Then I gave her a kiss.

I told her nothing will happen to her.

I promise…

3 hours late 11PM

My house is burned down.  Everything is gone.

I promised my wife nothing would happen too!

But I was wrong

Her torn body in my hands

Her blood was everywhere

I looked in her eyes

Then I was blinded by my tears

I looked up at the red sky

Then I yelled “ Please Stop.”

Then thunder crackled and boom

It made the world rock

Then from the ground

I heard a roar

Like nothing

I’ve ever heard before.

This thing emerged

It was higher than I could see

It crushed my wife’s corpse

 Then tried to grab me.

I tried to run fast, but

It grabbed my head and cried.

…it was just another dream

Then I looked into my close

I saw something bright

It was an angel

She was surrounded by a light

She tried to talk to me

This cannot be going on

I freaked and closed my eyes  When I opened them up she was gone.

NEXTMORNING 7 AM…

(Yawn) Hey babe it’s time to…

 Babe wake up quick

C’mon, look outside

 I can’t believe this

This just isn’t night

C’mon, get up

This is really weird

When she got up and looked

She just sat there and stared.

Then she said, “Oh god,

This cannot be true.”

Then she turned on the TV

To Capital News 9

Huh…the power went out

I grabbed her quick,

 And held her tight

 In my arms

 She began to cry…

10 minutes gone by

We both heard a loud wail

It came from outside

It sounded ghostly and pale

The sound of thunder

Crackled through the sky

I could remember this from the dream

I think I’m losing my mind

I got up and got the phone

To call out of work

As soon as that phone rang

 My whole house jerked

 I ran to my wife

Then I grabbed her again.

My head felt numb then I had a flash again

I was outside

Everything was red.

My wife just lay on the ground

 Hold on…what…she’s dead.

Stop! Why is this going on?

It’s like living in hell

 Come to think of it

Today is 2012

I went to get the bible

Huh…the pages are blank

 This definitely isn’t real

 This must be a BOOM!!

 The house rocked again

 Then everything fell

 I heard a loud snap

 Then my wife yelled

 I got up fast

I ran and picked her up quick

I ran outside the collapsing house

 She was unconscious.

The ground began to shake

 It rained even more

The ground cracked

And up came a very loud roar…

A shadow came out

It roared and wailed very loudly

I tried to grab my wife…

But it snatched and ripped her body

 The monster roared

And dropped her in front of me

Then I heard a rushing sound…

 It was a deadly tsunami…

Storm in the City

It is raining, storming and it is so scary under the dark black bridge.  The thunder is exploding and crashing and the lightning flashes wildly.  Trees are waving side to side, and trash cans tumble loudly down the street, falling.  The dirt is flying around in a circle.  This is why on a night like this, in the city; people stay inside.
